The Band

Honey Locust is Patrick Howell, Jake Davis, Lizzie Conner, Neal Halper, and Alex Cusic. Collectively, we play viola, banjo, piano, organ, accordion, guitar, ukulele, cello, mandolin, percussion, and bass. We all sing and stomp and make noise. Our music falls somewhere on the folk spectrum; our songs are orchestral but simple. Our roots lie in ole time, classical, traditional and contemporary folk, country, and rock n roll. We’re from Nashville, Tennessee.

Fear is a Feeling EP

Our debut EP Fear is a Feeling was released on May 8th, 2012. You can stream, download, or purchase it on our Bandcamp. Recorded at home with the deliberate intention of making the album as organic as possible, Fear Is A Feeling is the confluence of the eight months we’ve spent building and growing this band.
